Create Your First Agent

An agent is the host that actually runs your VMs or emulators. The backend assigns work to any reachable agent with matching capabilities.

Typical setups look like this:

  • Apple Silicon Mac agent for iOS VMs through vphone-cli

  • macOS or Linux agent with Android SDK and emulator tooling for Android

High-Level Flow

  1. Start the backend.

  2. Create an agent record and get its token.

  3. Run the generated install script on the host machine.

  4. Confirm that the agent shows up as online.
